“The Hibiscus King” - Shalom Bako is a leading expert on doing Business in Africa, who’s experience and influence spans from the African Sahel to the United States.

Born and raised in Northern Nigeria, he moved to the United States as teenager; excelling professionally as an athlete with teams like the Los Angeles Galaxy, as a Banker under the US entity for Mitsubishi Bank of Tokyo (MUFG), a Notary Public, a Licensed Real Estate Agent and member of the California Realtors Association before returning home to West Africa.

He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Global Chamber, providing his expertise as an International Trade Expert on Africa.
